Gourmet Spanish croquetas: creamy béchamel, Serrano ham, melting cheese, crispy breading, a delicious culinary escapade.




  • 60g of flour
  • 60g of butter
  • 50cl milk
  • 3 slices of Serrano ham
  • 100g grated cheese
  • Salt / pepper
  • 100g breadcrumbs (for breadcrumbs)
  • 100g flour (for breadcrumbs)
  • 1 egg (for bread crumbs)


Étape 1

Preheat the oven to 210°c

Étape 2

Make a béchamel sauce, melt the butter, then add the flour and milk little by little while mixing. When the mixture begins to thicken, add the grated cheese and the Serrano ham cut into strips. Salt and pepper.

Étape 3

Arrange the béchamel in a dish, put it in the fridge for at least 2 hours.

Étape 4

At the end of these 2 hours, form balls. On three different plates, place the flour, beaten egg and breadcrumbs. Dip each croquetas in flour, egg then breadcrumbs. Repeat twice.

Place them in a baking dish and brush them with a little oil.

Bake for 20 min.
