Vegan king cake

  • 2 vegetable puff pastry
  • 300g of almond powder
  • 150g of sugar
  • 50g of starch
  • 20cl of almond cream
  • 2tbsp of coconut oil
  • 1tsp of 'Bitter Almond



Stage 1

Preheat the oven to 200°c

Stage 2

On a baking tray spread the first puff pastry.

Stage 3

In a salad bowl, mix the almond powder, starch and sugar. Add the coconut oil and the almond cream. Mix.

Stage 4

Add the bitter almond flavor.

Stage 5

Spread the frangipane on the dough. Don't forget to add the bean!

Stage 6

Cover with the second dough and well seal the edges with a fork.

Stage 7

Using the tip of a knife, draw what you want on the pancake.

Stage 8

Brush the pancake with a little cream.

Stage 9

Bake for 35 minutes
