Perfectly golden scones, a sweet treat from England, exuding the scent of fresh butter, ready to be enjoyed hot. A soft delight.




  • 300g flour
  • 2 packets of baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 150 mL of milk
  • 70g of butter
  • egg + milk for browning


Stage 1

Preheat the oven to 200°C.

Stage 2

Mix the flour, baking powder, sugar and salt in a bowl. Add the butter cut into pieces. Mix with your fingertips.

Stage 3

Add the milk. Mix again with your fingers.

Stage 4

If the dough sticks a little, add flour.

Stage 5

Roll out the dough to about 3 cm. Using a 5 cm cookie cutter, cut out your scones .

Stage 6

Place the scones on a baking tray.

Stage 7

Brush with egg yolk and a little milk.

Stage 8

Bake for 15 minutes.
