Chocolate flake cake

A divine chocolate cake: melting, perfectly sweet, topped with a silky icing and sprinkled with gourmet sprinkles, an absolute treat.




  • 200g of dark chocolate
  • 100g of sugar
  • 100g butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 50g flour
  • 4 gelatin leaves
  • 120ml liquid cream
  • 100g unsweetened cocoa
  • 150ml water
  • 100g sugar


Stage 1

Preheat the oven to 180°c

Stage 2

In a saucepan melt the chocolate and butter.

Stage 3

In a bowl mix the eggs with the sugar then the flour

Stage 4

Mix the chocolate/butter with this mixture.

Stage 5

Bake for 20 min.

Stage 6

Make the icing, soak the gelatin leaves for 10 min in a bowl of cold water.

Stage 7

Heat the liquid cream, water, sugar and cocoa. mix, bring to the boil. Add the drained gelatin leaves. Stir. Place in a blender. Cover with film and refrigerate overnight. The next day, stir the mixture well, blend in a blender if necessary.

Stage 8

Pour over the cake with chocolate.

Stage 9

Add the sprinkles.
